Where & When
Sat 25 Feb, 10:00AM, Ellen Melville Centre
We’re excited to present a thought provoking intergenerational conversation that will explore the evolution and revolution of Aotearoa’s queer writing and creative community.
The conversation will encompass both the broad and personal, and framed by questions such as: Where have we been and where are we going? How has the road been shaped by those ahead of us, and what paths are the newer members of the writing community carving out for our future? How do we see each other generationally? What inspiration do we draw from one another? Are we exploring new ways to be published? To be heard? To be queer?
Journalist and playwright Aroha Awarau chairs this panel including acclaimed feminist dramatist and fiction writer Renée, award winning author Gina Cole, educator, writer, theatre practitioner Josiah Morgan and writer and blogger Laura Vincent. They come together to explore these questions and invite us all to reflect on our generational (r)evolution.
