Intro to Couple Retreat, for gay men

Kerensapowes: The Way of Love and Rest is a meditation retreat modality for a committed couple that offers the body limitless rest and limitless loving energy.

Singles welcome. We started reclaiming this method in 2001 in Devon, south-west Albion (Britain), after learning that such paired retreat was practiced in the old clans there. Kerensapowes means Love and Rest in the Cornish language.

Men of our kind have stood in their place as spiritual guardians for the people in earth-based and indigenous culture worldwide for many thousands of years. We welcome people of all ancestries. For Takataapui the sharing of love and rest in nature has always been a respected part of precolonial Maori and Pasifika spiritual tradition.

Many gay men experience energetic depletion due to urban overworking, lack of community and lack of feeling valued.

Group members will share their experience of couple retreat in nature huts outside of Auckland.

Through this environment of energetic nourishment we have experienced profound results in terms of spiritual awakening as well as healing from disease, addiction, and mental unwellness.

It is recommended that a couple be together at least a year before trying a three-day paired retreat.
